How does Stun Duration work in Path of Exile?

Base Stun Duration: Each enemy has a base stun duration, which determines how long a stun lasts by Path of exile currency default. This duration can be affected by various factors, such as passives, skills, and unique items.

 

Effect of Increased Stun Duration: When you have items or passives that increase stun duration, such as Ryslatha"s Coil, the stun duration is extended for all enemies you hit, as long as the attack or skill used can actually stun them.

 

Interaction with Enemy Resistances: Some enemies may have specific resistances or mechanics that reduce the time they remain stunned (e.g., bosses or higher-level monsters). However, Increased Stun Duration will still apply unless the enemy is POE currency buy immune or highly resistant to stuns.
